KODIAK ARTS COUNCIL ARTIST AWARDS

The Kodiak Arts Council offers Artist Awards every year to further individual growth in the arts. Award funds can be used to support a variety of artistic pursuits, including but not limited to: attending workshops or classes, purchasing materials or supplies to begin, advance, or complete work, supporting expenses related to arts business development (marketing, online media, exhibition support materials).
Artists of all ages working in all artistic disciplines are encouraged to apply. Eligible disciplines include, but are not limited to: dance, theatre, visual arts, music, storytelling, cultural practices, digital arts, fiber arts.

The Awards Committee will review the applications and select awardees. Decisions will be based on completeness of application, quality of artistic work within the context of the applicant's experience and career stage, impact of the award on the applicant's artistic growth, and intended benefit for the Kodiak community.
