Where are performances held? How do I get there?​
Performances are held in the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium (the white and orange
building) adjacent to the Kodiak High School (blue and gray building w/ yellow accents).
While our official physical address is 722 Mill Bay Rd, that takes you to the KIBSD central office on google maps. Instead use 917 E Rezanof accurate GPS directions or click HERE to view a map that shows our exact location.

How do we purchase tickets?
At the top of our homepage above the picture slideshow, click on ‘TICKETS’. This takes you to our ticketing website, AudienceView. It should have ‘ovationtix.com’ labeled in the web address. Here, you can conveniently purchase tickets online. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets over the phone by calling (907) 942-5840 or you may visit our office for in-person assistance Monday-Friday 10am - 4pm. Please beware resale tickets sites that sell Kodiak Arts Council shows at highly inflated prices. These include TicketSmarter, vidvidseats.com,and others. The Kodiak Arts Council and AudienceView are the only authorized sellers of tickets to Kodiak Arts Council shows.

Who are these artists? How can I find more information on them?
Navigate to the ‘Performing Arts Series ‘24-’25 section on our website’s homepage to explore our season lineup. You’ll find detailed event and artist information listed on the right-hand side of the page. Click on each event + artist’s name to discover more.
Who meets the requirements to audition for community theater productions?
We encourage anyone within the specified age range for our productions, regardless of your experience level in theater – whether you’re a beginner or seasoned performer in acting, singing, and dancing. We are also seeking individuals wanting to volunteer behind the scenes. There are a variety of areas in which you can contribute your time and skills: sound and lighting, backstage crew work, scenic painting, costuming, and other aspects of theater production.
Do infants and toddlers need a ticket?
All patrons including infants & toddlers still need to purchase a ticket. A special discount is available when families buy a minimum of four tickets with at least one YOUTH ticket. Use the code “FAMILY” at checkout. We also do recommend that you do your research on our artists or our community theater productions to determine whether this will be a right fit for your child.
What if myself, a friend, or a family member need special assistance (i.e. wheelchair assistance)?
Guests requiring special assistance are encouraged to contact our office. If you need wheelchair seating, please call us at (907) 942-5840 to reserve your seats. ADA seating is not available online. We are committed to accommodating your needs to the best of our ability.
What if I arrive late?
If you arrive after the event has begun, we kindly request that you wait by the doors leading into the auditorium until the artist concludes their first number and applause is heard from the audience. This approach minimizes disruption to both performers and attendees. Doors open half an hour before the scheduled start time of the event, so please check your tickets and plan to arrive promptly.
I purchased tickets, but can no longer make the event. Will I be able to receive a refund?
We are unable to offer refunds for purchased tickets, However, we are pleased to assist you in exchanging your ticket for another day the performance is scheduled or for another concert event. Please visit our office or contact us at (907) 942-5840 to arrange for a ticket exchange.
